Our fearless leader has over 20 years of experience as a mortgage broker, as well as working in the banking, financial planning and insurance broker industries here in New Zealand and internationally, with clients located across the globe.
In his spare time Malcolm loves spending time with his family, out on the water fishing and keeping fit playing squash. Malcolm is a keen traveller and enjoys meeting different people from around the world.
- Adam can offer Personal Risk Insurance advice
Adam has 18 years’ experience in sales and account management across a variety of industries, from retail, financial services, travel and wholesale food and beverage. Always with a focus on customer relationships, he is knowledgeable and trustworthy, is naturally a people person and will always work in your best interests.
As a new member of the team he brings with him enthusiasm and energy and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, products and technology. Adam is a 7th generation Northlander and is an active member of the Northland community, often out and about at social events and sports gatherings with friends and family. Make sure you say “hi” if you see him, he is keen to work with you!
Yvonne has extensive knowledge within the finance industry. Along with having worked in the personal insurance industry for much of her career, the last thirty years has seen Yvonne working in financial planning and retirement planning – helping many people achieve their financial goals and planning for their retirement. Yvonne has also held senior wealth management roles and financial management positions within the banking industry.
Yvonne has owned and operated a real estate company and a financial planning company and is able to draw from her experience as a business owner and independent financial adviser to benefit our clients.
In her spare time Yvonne enjoys boating and spending time with friends and family, and she is the published author of a self-help book titled “Just Breathe”.
With over 12 years’ experience in the home lending industry (including personal banking) Ginny has a keen passion for helping customers toward their home/investment dreams. She brings to Quantum a wide range of skills developed through dealing with people from all walks of like and helping them achieve their individual goals. Having lived in the Far North for over 13 years she enjoys the paradise we have and loves walking, fishing and discovering the untouched spots of New Zealand.
Catherine (aka “Cat”) moved to the mid-North in 1999. She has just shy of 10 years’ experience in the banking industry, years well spent building personal relationships & working with customers to meet their goals. Cat has a particular interest in helping people and gets a fantastic sense of achievement when her clients reach their goals! Outside of work Cat is passionate about horses, teaching riding & training horses in various disciplines. She also enjoys spending time with her 3 young nephews & supporting the rest of her tight-knit family.
Corina Van Der Gulik
Corina has over 12 years experience within the financial sector. She is a qualified Financial Adviser with a passion for customer service and providing a tailored solution to suit her clients specific needs.
A kiwi with overseas roots, Corina grew up in Wellington & in her late teens moved to Auckland where she has been ever since. She is married to the man of her dreams and along with their 2 children they have set up camp on the outskirts of South Auckland. Corina loves to travel and given the chance would be on a plane tomorrow, exploring what the world has to offer.
Lou oversees our budgeting and personal financial coaching team at Quantum. She has a bachelor’s degree in Health Science (Midwifery) and worked as a LMC within the community of Northland over the past 5 years. She brings life experience and learned knowledge into this role to help empower her clients with reducing their debt and learning how to pay off their mortgages in as little as 7 years. Lou also loves travelling with her hubby Malcolm (when our borders are open), fishing, beach time and spending time with their family.
Shannon has joined Quantum to work alongside Louise – together they are helping our clients with financial coaching and budget management. His experience in various industries means Shannon can relate to people of all walks of life and is easy to talk to.
Shannon, who is of Nga-Puhi and Ngati-Hau descent, returned to his hometown of Whangarei a few years ago with his wife and little boy after living in both Auckland and Australia. Spare time is spent with his family and friends and he loves watching bit of sport on the weekends!

Jade is Northland through and through! With over 20 years experience in Financial Services including Managing Banks here in New Zealand and Australia, Jade is passionate about helping people achieve their goals.
A proud husband to Kelli and father to seven children and a grandson, Jade loves spending time with Whānau, in the Community and serves on a Number of Trusts and Boards. Jade enjoys all sports and spends his free time at the gym.
Prior to working with Quantum Claire’s background was in Sales Management within the Real Estate industry and Administration Management. Claire is Auckland-born but spent her teenage years in Whangarei before moving to London and then to Perth. Having returned to Whangarei with her husband and 2 young children they are currently renovating their property in Kensington. Claire is passionate about protecting our planet and she loves to travel and spend time in nature.
Prior to working at Quantum Paula’s background was in Administration and Accounts within different industries. Born in Whangarei, she then moved to Auckland for 15yrs, went travelling overseas, living in England and on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. She returned to Whangarei with her Scottish husband to have their son and she is now living at Whangarei Heads. Paula is a self-confessed foodie, most of her leisure time is spent working on their property at the heads and experimenting with food ideas.
